ROUTINE CHECKUP
A physical examination/wellness check-up is an evaluation of the body and its functions using inspection, palpation, and auscultation. This also includes gathering information about medical history and lifestyle, doing laboratory tests, and screening for disease.
SICK VISITS / FOLLOW UPS
Office visits to help aid with symptoms and/or issues with mild, moderate or chronic conditions are just a phone call away.
While routine medical care is available in order to avoid flare-ups of mild, moderate or chronic conditions.
VACCINATIONS / IN-OFFICE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Vaccinations include FLU vaccines, and TDAP shots (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis).
Some diagnostic services offered are bloodwork, Urinalysis, Rapid Strep Throat testing, and EKGs.
ABOUT DR. FIELDS
Dr. Steven Fields takes great pride in providing exceptional services and genuine care for his patients. He is board certified under the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing in Hialeah since 1985.
Raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Fields received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Brown University, his Medical Doctorate at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and completed his residency in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Fields is the Assistant Medical Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program at Palmetto General Hospital, and has been since 2015. He is also an assistant professor of Medicine at Nova University; teaching residents and students since 2001; and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
